Lomanisue Beach Bungalows, known simply as "the Bungalows", on the beautiful island of Nananu-I-ra is just 15 minutes off the coast of Rakiraki and consists of only 5 x 2-room ‘bures’ each comfortably sleeping up to 6 people.

The property faces due east and is situated on a 2km long stretch of white sandy beach – no need for beach umbrellas, this is truly where the forest meets the sea. The architect has utilised a design approach with materials, such as timber poles and polished hardwood floors, to create a synergy and empathy with the natural environment.

They blend in with the heavily treed, beachfront tropical setting that makes this part of Nananu-I-ra so special - “far from the madding crowd”.
